1. Where does eCarruthers ship to?
The majority of the products on eCarruthers.com are for in-store pickups. There is no extra cost for in-store pickups. The person coming in to pick up the order must be the same person you entered in the delivery address during checkout. ECarruthers will attempt to make contact with this person and he/she will be asked to come in with a picture form ID. Passports and Drivers License are accepted forms of Identification.
For our export products, eCarruthers ships to New Zealand, Australia, United States of America and neighbouring Pacific Islands. If your country was not mentioned, we can work with you in finding the best solution to have your goods shipped.
Note: Not all products can be exported to your country. Some international destinations enforce strict customs regulations and procedures that may affect the cost of shipping and handling. We will advise you of these “extra costs” once we receive a confirmation email from you.
At present we do not offer export to overseas countries. We are currently in the process of negotiating locations in New Zealand, Australia and the USA for exports. Please stay tuned.
2. What shipping carriers does eCarruthers use for export?
For all export orders, eCarruthers uses DHL for export orders. Customers will be given a DHL tracking number to track their delivery.
We are currently in negotiations to provide DHL, FEDEX, EMS and TNT as other shipping options.
3. What forms of shipping are available ?
At present eCarruthers only offers PickUp from our Store in Apia

4. How soon can I get my product/service?
For In-Store Pickups
All Orders tagged for In-Store PickUp are available once the order has been packed and payment information has been verified. This normally takes 1-2 business days. Orders can be picked up at Eveni Carruthers Ltd Flagship store located on Beach Road, Apia. Please remember to inform the authorised recipient to bring in a Valid Form of Identification.
In Store Pick Up: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
Saturday – 8am to 1pm
For Export Orders:
Depending on final destination, shipping carrier and quick verification of payment. Orders can take up to 2 to 4 Weeks for delivery.
as well as confirmation it could take as long as 3 to 4 Weeks.
If an order is placed on a National Holiday, please add extra days to estimated time of arrival as shipping carriers will be closed.
5. How do I pick up an Item?
Picking up an item purchased or being sent is easy. Just notify (we will also notify) the authorized person to bring an Approved Picture Form of Identification to the Eveni Carruthers Store located on Beach Road.
6. What are Accepted Forms of Picture Ids?
a) Valid Passport
b) Valid Drivers License
c) Valid Country ID
7. How do I know that an item has been picked up or delivered to authorized person?
If goods are being purchased on behalf of a peroson. As soon as the item has been picked up or delivered we will despatch an email notifying you that it has been "shipped". All Authorized persons will need to bring Valid forms of Identification for safeguard purposes.
8. Can I ship to multiple addresses?
No. Currently eCarruthers does not offer that option. It will however in the near future. Please email us your situation and we can offer a list of available solutions to best suit your needs.
9. Customs Fees and Regulations
All orders being sent internationally will be immediately advised on Customs Fees and Regulations as soon as your order is confirmed. Please note that some countries have strict regulations on packaging, labelling and the type of export which may lead to a higher cost. We would advise you the best solution made available.
10. Sales Tax Information
Goods and/or services purchased for use in Samoa are subject to the Government of Samoa’s Value Added on Goods and Services Tax (VAGST) of 15%. All export orders are not subject to VAGST. You can view the VAGST amount for a product by clicking on the "more details" button.
11. Items Requiring Special Handling
Items in eCarruthers.com that are extremely oversized and require special handling will ship separately from other items in your order and will incur extra costs. We will advise you of these charges in our email once your order is placed.
Please note that each shipment of these items requires an adult signature upon delivery. Once your order leaves our fulfillment center, you will be contacted to arrange a specific time for delivery.
For Oversized Items purchased which have not yet been picked up for more than 3 months would incur a storage fee. We will notify you of pending charges a week before the third month.
12. What if an order is not picked up ?
In the rare circumstance such an event occurs, we will contact you to find other means of delivery. Please note anything not picked up after 3 Months may incur a storage fee.
